We had a very small, early-morning mountain ceremony which offered a heaping portion of variables - road conditions, wet weather, and pandemic restrictions. Grace took everything in stride, remained flexible and professional throughout, and could not have arrived more prepared. Documenting our ceremony, Grace did not miss a beat, capturing the intimacy and emotion of our wedding day in details that we’ll treasure for the rest of our lives. For our post-ceremony portraits, Grace gave incredible direction, amplifying and improving every idea we brought to the table. She truly exceeded our expectations with the final product, delivering photographs with perfectly balanced colors and beautiful black and whites. Every step from planning to final delivery was easy, comfortable, and super fun. Such a delight!

It is a park we go to frequently, but Grace was able to find new spots and angles that I would have never seen or thought of before. I generally feel like I look awkward or staged in photos like this, but Grace was able to make me feel comfortable and kept us moving and trying new things so that I never felt static or posed. Because of the circumstances, I had to schedule my engagement photo shoot with Grace the week that I was proposing. I didn’t have time to meet Grace in person prior to our shoot, but we communicated (secretly) via text and email, and when we did show up to get our pictures taken, it went as smoothly as it could have. Grace had truly listened to my vision and the kinds of photos we wanted and ran with it. 

She basically allowed us to just be ourselves, and every once in awhile she would gently direct us to move our bodies slightly to make sure that we were in ideal lighting and posing situations. But other than that, it felt like we were just hanging out and Grace was able to just do her thing. Our pictures turned out AMAZING - we could not be happier with them! Grace is extremely talented, made us feel incredibly comfortable instantly, and communicated with me/us often (but not too often!) about when our photos would be complete and what to expect.
